For the microsite I was inspired by the video, where curators were installing Kelly’a art at SFMOMA by positioning artworks according to the scale, relationship to the wall, ceiling, floor, lights and each other. Every variation brings new visual and physical experience. This promotional artist website is for the audience to manipulate the artworks by dragging/rotating/positioning them to experience new forms of composition. In addition, by clicking on each wall, where the artworks “hung”, the user dives in to another level, where only pure color exists, so a viewer is able to experience the relationship of Kelly’s abstract geometric forms not just on the wall but in some other dimension of pure “colorshape”.
